3BL TEAM MEMBER
You deliver excellent customer service, while providing food and beverages, you have prepared, to customers who visit the café. Main duties include receiving each customer’s order, preparing and serving the correct dishes and beverages to each customer, cleaning up workstations and prep areas, and making sure the kitchen is stocked.
Excellent customer service results in customers getting what they ordered in a timely manner, but it also means you greet customers and engage in friendly conversation with them to cultivate a hospitable, welcoming environment the entire time. Note, you will need to become competent and confident in cooking food in a kitchen, making espresso drinks, and routinely interacting with customers - getting to know them. Your key duties and responsibilities include:
Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned during and after closing to comply with state regulations
Note, it is your responsibility to know the safe and proper methods of operating relevant appliances and utensils. You will need stamina to work long hours in a fast-paced environment. You also need to be able to lift heavy objects and collaborate effectively with other staff to meet customer, chef, and owner-operator expectations. Other reasonable expectations include:
Hourly pay: $15 per hour + tips, paid bi-monthly FY23; 20-40 hrs per week.
