The Writing Lab is open fall semester Tuesday- Thursday 2:30-4 pm., and is located in room 192, Brockel Building, at KRC. The Writing Lab can help with any paper at any stage of the writing process. Walk-ins and appointments welcome. Computers are also available for use whenever the door is open.
For more information or to schedule an appointment email email@example.com.
Can't make it into the Writing Lab? Check out the Online Writing Lab (OWL).
The OWL is part of the Kenai River Campus' (KRC) Learning Center. The OWL is staffed by a KPC professional writing consultant. This website addresses issues related to writing: the writing process, essay format, paragraph development, documentation, grammar, and basic writing tips. Students will receive feedback containing practical suggestions for revising their paper.
However, it should be noted that OWL will not revise students papers. Students will receive helpful suggestions and may be referred to resources as well. Since each individual student is the author of their own paper, they may or may not choose to take the suggestions submitted by the OWL.
Students who have questions about writing a paper, would like feedback on their work, or are unsure of grammar, are also encouraged to submit a question or a sample of their work using the OWL request form.
