KPC is excited to announce a new non-credit course series this summer, Wilderness Living Skills and Survival: Primitive LIving Series.

There are two weekends in the series, June 11-12 and June 18-19 from 9am-5pm. Each weekends course fee is $120. Different skills will be taught each weekend so take one or both.

The class will be taught by Raife Bowman who is experienced in training and educating people on how to live in the backcountry with minimal equipment. Additionally, Raife is an EMT trained in emergency and backcountry medical!

This Primitive Living Series is an integration with nature and survival awareness to become physically and mentally comfortable in the Alaska wilderness. This course is an introduction to an active, simple lifestyle that participates with nature using low-tech tools and the landscape around them.
