Kenny Carver Scholarship (Soldotna) 

Applicant must be a Soldotna High School graduating senior with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Preference for students interested in a vocational field.

Art Jess Scholarship

Alaska resident who is Alaska Native, American Indian, and/or Hawaiian Native. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 at the high school or post-secondary level (i.e. your current education level)

JJ Klein Scholarship 

Supports Alaskan high school graduates pursuing post-secondary education. Preference will be given to applicants with a GPA from 2.0 to 3.2 Applicants must have demonstrated financial need. The JJ Klein scholarship will provide a one-time award of up to $10,000.

Credit Union 1 Bill Countryman Scholarship

Must be a member or child of a member of Credit Union 1 for a minimus of one year.

Alaska Professional Communicators Scholarship

College students with promise in journalism or public communications fields, and the likelihood that the student will enter these fields.

Scott Fibranz Memorial Baseball Scholarship 

$500 to students entering in a post-secondary university, who were involved in an Alaskan high school baseball program during the semester prior to their graduation from high school and/or a participant in the American Legion League during the summer baseball season immediately following their graduation from high school.

Tim Akers Memorial Scholarship 

Supports outstanding Alaskan students in the pursuit of technology education and/or training. Tim Akers played an influential role in the development and production of the Prudhoe Bay Oilfield. Akers served as a mentor and role model for many young Alaskans with little or no experience working on the North Slope. His guidance helped to establish a solid core of exceptional Alaskan talent in the Prudhoe Bay workforce.

David E. Knox Memorial Nursing Fellowship 

Up to $2,500 for those who agree to practice nursing in a small community within the state of Alaska for a minimum of one year.

Sven and Lorraine Eriksson Alaska Scholarship 

Award of up to $2,500 per year for up to 4 years to Alaskan students studying engineering or music at the University of Alaska.

The Ron and Terri Davis Trades Scholarship 

Established to help deserving students with financial need to complete a certificate or degree in the trades, including an applied associates degree leading to employment in the trades.

The THS Patricia Roppel Scholarship 

One annual award of $5,000. Awards will go to students majoring in history of Alaska at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Several scholarships to college students preparing for a career in state and local government finance. Criteria: pursuing Business degree, 3.0 GPA minimum, junior or senior level, and Alaska resident.

Established to support educational opportunities for American Indian and Alaska Native students. Our vision is strong, self-sufficient American Indian communities. 

Applications received before March 1 earn an extra point on scoring.

NSC Provides individuals interested in pursuing safety as a career with funding for education, certifications and continuing education opportunities.

mmigrants who meet certain criteria are referred to as DREAMers as the fill the requirements of the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act. 3.0 GPA minimum. Age 16-25 PT or FT Hispanic students.

United Negro College Fund

United Negro College Fund has helped more than 500,000 students earn their college degrees since its founding. Each year they award more than $100 million in scholarships . Scholarships are posted monthly based on due dates.
