Admission & Registration

Admission & Registration

It is your responsibility to make sure your admissions are complete. You can check the status of your admissions at UAOnline.

All students intending to register for one or more courses must apply for admission as either a degree or non-degree seeking student. Admission as a degree seeking student is necessary in order to receive most types of financial aid. Admitted students have the privileges of early registration, official transcript evaluation and assigned advisors.

Admission means:

  • You have completed an Admissions Application form at UAOnline or paper-based (Click here for form) prior to the campus deadline for that semester. (See advising!)
  • Your high school/GED transcript with graduation date stamped on it has been sent directly to KPC.
  • Your official transcripts of completed classes from other colleges have been sent directly to KPC/UAA.
  • You have submitted Accuplacer or SAT or ACT scores within last two years.
  • You have paid the Admissions fee.

Placement Testing

In order to choose the right classes, you will need to present placement scores for Reading, Writing, and Math.  SAT or ACT or Accuplacer scores that are less than two years old will work.

To schedule an Accuplacer placement test, call 235-7743.  The fee is $18.
