After considerable thought and discussion, KPC’s Kenai River Campus has decided that the Residence Hall will go on a one-year hiatus, beginning June 30, 2020, to determine how the campus can move forward in the future.
Outside of apartments, the KPC Residence Hall offers several other spaces for residents and guests to use and hang out in.
Located on the first floor of the Residence Hall, the Fireplace Commons is a great place to play games with friends, catch the latest sports game, or cozy up next to the fire on a cold winter day.
The Residence Hall is divided into 6 quads, each with a centrally located common area. Each area comes equipped with multiple seating options from bean bag chairs to Jedi chairs. Each common area also offers flat screen TV’s, Ethernet ports for gaming and recycling centers.
Located on the second floor of the Residence Hall, the Rec Room features a pool table, ping pong table, and vending machines.
One perk for KPC residents is our laundry facilities. Unlike other college residence halls where laundry machines are coin operated, laundry machine usage at the KPC Residence Hall is included in the overall cost. Currently, our laundry room has 6 high-efficiency washers and dryers as well as a table for folding clothes.
Located on the second floor of the residence hall our gym facilities are available to all residents. Equipment includes weight machines, treadmills and more.
Located on the first floor across from the fireplace commons, the MPR is a useful space more many different activities, from potlucks and movie nights to classes and conferences.
