Expertise
New Student Success Coordinator: I connect students to campus resources and provide support in navigating KPC Student Onboarding processes (admissions, registration, testing, advising, transition
support, etc). This includes assisting new and transfer students. Continuing or returning students
are also welcome to contact me for assistance. I coordinate the KRC New Student Orientation. I am the Diversity and Inclusion Liaison for KPC Student Services. I advise the student group "LGBT: An Alliance group at KPC" (also known as "The Family at KPC"). I serves, as needed, on many KPC/UAA committees including Scholarship, BIT, Recruitment
and Marketing, Diversity Action Council, and Staff Forum.
Evening Coordinator: I provide administrative oversight in the evenings. This includes
being the evening contact person for student services, the campus contact person for
evening emergencies, and providing campus access (where appropriate). It also includes
assisting with evening programming and supporting faculty, staff and students after
5pm. I can assist with printing issues and media technology use.
Safety Officer: My 14+ year background in Student Housing/Residence Life has given
me immense experience in loss prevention, risk aversion and assessment, as well as
crisis management and response. I am certified to train folks in Safe Zone, Community
Emergency Response Team (CERT) Trainer, and ALICE. I keep my CPR/AED/First Aid and
Mental Health First Aid certificates current. I manage the Safety related documents
and processes for KPC. This includes managing the free ice cleat program, KRC ERT,
