Student Rights & Responsibilities

Kenai Peninsula College students are afforded the same rights and responsibilities as any member of the University of Alaska Anchorage community.

Student Rights, Freedoms and Responsibilities

The concept of rights and freedoms, no matter how basic or widely accepted, carries with it corresponding responsibilities. Students' rights, freedoms, and responsibilities; complaint procedures; and UAA campus safety information are explained in the UAA Student Handbook and on the UAA Dean of Students office page. Students are responsible for knowing UAA policies, procedures and deadlines which pertain to them.

For questions on student rights, freedoms and responsibilities, contact KRC Student Services (262-0330) or KBC Student and Enrollment Services (235-7743).
