Conservation Ecology Occupational Endorsement Certificate

Overview

Explore Alaska and gain an edge over the competition with a fast-track career certificate in Conservation Ecology at KPC's Kachemak Bay Campus in Homer, Alaska. This Occupational Endorsement Certificate is designed for upper division undergraduate or recently graduated baccalaureate students to take Alaska-specific biology courses that can lead to jobs in related career fields.

Students will learn about conservation ecology in a hands-on environment. Through internships and seminars, students will work with government and non-profit professionals that are doing real-time data collection in environmental conservation. Technicians, biologists, and observers all play critical roles in maintaining healthy ecosystems and meeting the needs of communities.
