Be sure to follow these steps for SUCCESS!
- Meet with an advisor regarding registration approval and procure two sets of fingerprints
and provide them to the campus advisor
- Take the ACCUPLACER placement test for English and the ALEKS placement test for math
(contact specific campus)
- Register and pay for the 6-credit course
- Mail the advisor-approved federal background check packet to the State of Alaska
- Obtain proof of immunization (prior to the deadline listed in application packet)
KRC Steps for Success:
- Fill out the KRC CNA Application
- Meet with Admissions Counselor Richelle Frankovic-Spencer regarding registration.
- Take the ACCUPLACER placement test for English and the ALEKS placement test for math
(contact KRC testing center).
- ACCUPLACER minimum score of 235 for both reading/writing OR WRTG 090
- ALEKS minimum score of 17 OR MATH 055
- Procure two sets of fingerprints and provide them to the admissions counselor. Bring
payment for background check to meeting.
- Register and pay tuition fee for the 6-credit course.
- Obtain proof of immunizations or immunity:
- 2 MMR vaccines (measles, mumps, and rubella)
- OR titer proving immunity
- OR medical/religious exemption waiver for measles and mumps
- Rubella immunization is mandatory
- 2 Varicella Zoster vaccines (chicken pox)
- OR titer proving immunity
- OR medical/religious exemption waiver
- 3 Hepatitis B vaccines AND a titer proving immunity
- OR medical/religious exemption waiver
- Current influenza and COVID 19 vaccine
- OR medical/religious exemption waiver
