ACCUPLACER is KPC/UA’s computerized placement test to assess skills in writing. Alternatively,
students may be placed into writing courses based upon ACT or SAT score information
about their academic skills in English and reading.
ACCUPLACER is not required for students applying for admission to a degree or certificate
program; however, students registering for writing, or communication courses for the
first time; and for students taking courses with applicable credits will be required.
ACCUPLACER Assessment is recommended for all students. Once completing a test, a score
report will be created and provided to the student.
