On Saturday, October 5 at 6:00 PM at Kachemak Bay Campus, Dan Bigley tells his story about how the last thing he ever saw was the bear which took his eyes and left his life hanging by a thread.
Blind and disfigured, Dan faced a long, painful journey of healing, and his story of survival transcends all expectations as each layer is revealed. Come hear about Dan’s incredible journey from the brink of death to rebuilding a life that includes a master’s degree in social work from the University of Alaska-Anchorage, becoming president and CEO of Denali Family Services, and building a beautiful family of his own.
