Learn about the marine mammals found in our area, throughout Alaskan waters, and along our coasts. Study with one of our community's most engaging naturalists through classroom lectures available in person at Kachemak Bay Campus or through zoom, and three exciting field trips. Homer - on Kachemak Bay and in Halibut Cove Lagoon documenting harbor porpoises and other marine mammals. Kenai/Soldotna - monitoring and eDND sampling of Beluga whales on the Kenai River. Seward - Spring Wildlife Cruise on Ressurection Bay. Classes meet Wednesdays, 5:15 - 7:30 pm.
