Pictured, at left, is the edge of Bill and Dee Stock's house. Winter view shows a big moose, oil barrels, some on a rack, some standing. Barrels saw a lot of use in homesteading days. Often they contained fuel for cooking and heating stoves, or gasoline for vehicles. Sometimes families ordered fuel delivered, or the empty barrels were loaded on a truck and taken to a supplier. Also in view is the original bar, the Bear Den.
