On Thursday, July 24, at 5:30 PM, Kachemak Bay Campus in Homer will offer a FREE class in garden maintenance.

Casey Matney of the UAF Cooperative Extension Service will go over common plant diseases, pathogens, and nutrient deficiencies. Learn what to look for and how to address problems as they arise, and we may see some signs in the KBC Grows high tunnel!

Class begins in Bayview Hall room 102 and moves to the KBC high tunnel across the parking lot. Offered in partnership with Homer Soil and Water Conservation District and UAF Cooperative Extension. For more information, contact Jill Burnham at jmburnham@alaska.edu or 907-235-1674.

Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made five business days in advance to Jill Burnham. Language access services, such as interpretation or translation of vital information, will be provided free of charge to individuals with limited English proficiency upon request to amnorris2@alaska.edu.

This work is supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
