Soldotna Tourist Center, on the present site of Hutchings show room. Land was part of the Farnsworth homestead. Log building erected by community members, some of whom were Virginia and Bill Gibbs, Jack Farnsworth, and Lawrence McGuire. The office also became the Chamber of Commerce, and the ticket office for Cordova Airlines (daily operating off of the Soldotna Airport, with flights to Anchorage). Seen here at the desk almost daily was Beulah Grange. The building was later moved to Binkley St. It now is seen at the Soldotna Historical society museum.
