The River Terrace Motel fronted the Sterling Highway near the Kenai River bridge in Soldotna, and the River Terrace Trailer Court (site of Howard Binkely's house), with its 60 spaces, lay nearby. These units were welcome housing for many employees (and families) in oil-related work on the Swanson River field.
