This is downtown Anchorage, 4th Avenue, looking west toward the Anchorage Westward Hotel. The 1964 Good Friday earthquake demolished businesses on the north side between A and C streets. Lower center shows Fourth Avenue completely wiped out. In 2000, it was a park that sloped to the Alaska Railroad Depot.
