Carver's Cabins on the Sterling Highway between the road & the river where the Riverside House is today. These were hastily built to accommodate the influx of oil field workers. These men were happy to have a warm, clean bunk after a 12 hour work day at the Swanson River oilfield. These cabins each had four bunks at $100.00 per bunk per week.
