100 years of statehood celebration, Ralph Van Nortwick & Ted Grainge, Soldotna 1962

Left to right: Ralph Van Nortwick, Ted Grainge. An event celebrating natural gas service to Soldotna and surrounding area. Gas had been discovered in the Kalifornsky fields. The pipeline was laid crossing underneath the Kenai Rive and ran north beneath Turnagain Arm to Anchorage. Soldotna was first on "line""."
