Cheechako News with Loren Stewart & Chuck Tachick, Soldotna 1961

Loren Stewart had homesteaded on the Kenai River, touching on mile 1.5 of the Kenai Spur Highway. The second and permanent home of Cheechako News was the concrete block building shown here. The truck and van shown here belonged to Tachick Freight.
