Ted Grainge, owner of Soldotna Supply, now Spenard Builder's Supply, Soldotna 1960's

Ted was brother of Red Grainge. He arrived in Soldotna in the early 1960's on Red's recommendation. He and his wife Amy had four children, and soon established a much needed building supply business called Soldotna Supply, located on the Spur Highway. It evolved into what is now Spenard Builder's Supply.
