Larry Lancashire and horse, Soldotna 1963

Larry Lancashire was a lover and trader of horses, and he had a large barn on his homestead. He always went on elaborate moose hunting trips in the Kenai National Moose Range, and his daughter Abby was one of his hunting partners. His spouse was Rusty, and his other children were Martha and Laurie. He and Joe Faa were the organizers of horse races which took place for a short time on a track east of the Kenai Spur Highway, across from the 4 Royle Parkers Café and Bar.
