School bus driver Dan France, Soldotna 1962
Dan France and his wife Mary first resided in a trailer in Carvers Trailer Court. Pictured here is Dan as a school bus driver. He also had a career as a fish and game enforcement officer. Along the way they homesteaded a beautiful site off Forest Lane high above the Kenai River. He was described as a "cororful character".
