Tachick Freight business partners Roger and Wayne Tachick loading crates, Soldotna 1960's

The Tachick sons were in a freighting business together: Tachick Freight. Here Roger & Wayne are loading a large wooden crate onto a small flatbed with a come-along. Their dad was a long-time mechanic with the Alaska Road Commission and the sons inherited the talent. They "delivered the goods" throughout the peninsula and Anchorage.
