Mickey Faa in front of the Soldotna Post Office, Soldotna late 1960's

Photo shows additions to the Howard Lee homestead cabin, which is still seen on Corral Avenue/Kenai Spur Highway as of 2016, which later became the home of Joe & Mickey Faa. Joe was a skilled carpenter, and Mickey became the 2nd postmaster after Maxine Lee's hasty departure. The area, and thus the post office was rapidly growing. This photo can also be found in Juneau at the office of History and Archaeology.
