Special meeting of the Quiet Birdmen. Lou Leavitt was a longtime aviator who was involved in the early use of helicopters. He had landed U.S. mail in a helicopter on the roof of the U.S. Post Office in Washington, D.C. Governor Egan readily visited small communites on special occasions.
