First mile marker at Dawson City, British Columbia, Canada late 1940's
This slide starts a series of photos taken by Virgil Dahler, a Minnesotan who travelled from there enroute to Soldotna on the Kenai Peninsula where he homesteaded. This is a landmark for travelers to Alaska placed in the middle of the main street, Dawson Creek.
