Dolly Farnsworth and Farnsworth cabin, Soldotna 1948

Built on the North side of the Sterling Highway, on the hill near the Y. Entryman, Jack Farnsworth, a veteran. Rather newly arrived from California with his wife, they filed on 160 acres and found an almost completed, but abandoned cabin on their land. Dolly's "one in the oven"" showing here, proved to be their first child.
