Mullen family cabin, Soldotna 1954

Shown with an addition to the original 14x16 cabin. Wood cookstove gone in favor of a propane stove. Gas powered washing machine operated outside the cabin between April 1 and October 1, since the gas fumes were so obnoxious. Water was obtained from Soldotna Creek and later from the 25 foot well, hand dug by Marge, beside the house.
