Crescent Dairy, Soldotna early 1960's

Crescent Dairy, built by Chuck Hines, sold milk products and was a popular spot for ice cream, served through a drive-up window. The Shirley and Chuck Hines home in Farnsworth subdivision sat directly behind the dairy. The Farnsworth subdivision of 1952 was the first in Soldotna and was designed by surveyor Charlie Parker.
