Kasilof Methodist Church being hauled to Soldotna, Kasilof early 1950's

This small frame structure was built and used in Kasilof until a greater population grew in Soldotna. The members agreed to move onto property donated by Maxine Lee at mile .05 Kenai Spur Hishway. Homer Freight Lines was the hauler. In order to cross the bridge in Soldotna the air had to be removed from the tires on the trailer so as to avoid touching the overhead structure of the bridge.
