Soldotna Methodist Church, Soldotna early 1950's

This building was moved from Kasilof onto property donated by Maxine Lee at mile .5 of the Kenai Spur Highway. A reverend Elliott and his spouse from Moose Pass served this church. He held Sunday school and services probably on a monthly basis. The building was heated with an oil stove, as evidenced by the 50 gallon barrel against the building.
