First pastor was Richard J. Tuff. It was a frame structure housing the beautiful body of the church. It was later winged with a kitchen and Sunday school meeting rooms. It was called the fellowship hall. The original building was in the shape of a cross. The pastor's, office and meeting rooms on the other side. The church itself has fine acoustics where musical concerts for the entire community are offered. The sign on tree announces "Temporarily meeting at Soldotna Theatre"
