Root cellar for Lancashire potatoes, Soldotna 1950

Larry Lancashire on the left, the unidentified carpenter wears a nail apron which says "Peninsula Building Supply". The building is the root cellar for the Lancashire grading and storing of potatoes. This homesteader opended up a ten acre field and got into potato production. He marketed at Wildwood Air Force Station and in Anchorage.
