Technology Resources

KPC provides free wireless high-speed Internet access to its students. KPC not only has an IT staff on site fully prepared to fix any technology problem that may arise, there is also an IT HelpDesk hotline specifically designed for student, staff and faculty questions.

KPC has several computer labs on its campuses, stocked with the most popular software programs. There are online tutoring resources for math and English available through the Learning Center, and detailed online information on Blackboard, Webmail, and UAOnline.

Students are provided e-mail accounts and are expected to check them on a regular basis. Students are encouraged not to forward their university email to accounts outside the university system as this may cause issues with communication from their instructors. There is online support for managing student e-mail accounts.

Computers that are identified as corrupt or compromised will be banned from KPC networks. Using personal devices in conjunction with KPC equipment can cause corruption and may result in a ban on utilizing KPC equipment. Illegal downloading of copyrighted content is not allowed.
