This is a photo of the Soldotna Medical Clinic where Dr. Paul Isaak and Dr. Elmer Gaede served the entire central peninsula. A group of the doctors & interested business people arranged for financing and construction of the clinic, which was built in 1961. Bill Staley was the lab technician. Nurses were Miss Meadows, Betsy Staley, Jane Young, Jan Casson. In 2000, Marge Mullen observed: "Many babies were born here. According to custom after the delivery the doctors put everything in order and left.
