Director's Welcome

Interim Director's Welcome

Welcome to Kenai Peninsula College (KPC), a cornerstone of quality academic experiences and a gateway to opportunity in Alaska's Playground. As Interim Director, I am thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant community.

KPC offers a strong foundation for academic success, with programs that allow students to earn most University of Alaska degrees right here on the Kenai Peninsula. Whether you're starting your higher education journey or seeking to advance your career, KPC provides accessible and comprehensive pathways to achieve your goals.

Beyond our dedication to traditional academics, KPC is deeply committed to career and technical education. Our welding, instrumentation, and process technology programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of state-wide industries, providing students with hands-on skills and valuable certifications. Additionally, our Paramedic and CNA programs offer critical training for those pursuing careers in healthcare.

With two campuses in Homer and Soldotna and an extension site in Seward, KPC serves the diverse communities of the Kenai Peninsula. We are excited to announce the recent reopening of our residence hall on the Kenai River Campus, offering students a supportive and engaging on-campus living experience.

At KPC, we are dedicated to providing a quality academic experience with abundant opportunities for students today and in the future. We invite you to explore all that we have to offer and find your place at Kenai Peninsula College. Visit kpc.alaska.edu to learn more.
