On Wednesday, December 13 at Kachemak Bay Campus beginning at 10:00 am, the Fall 2023 Semester by the Bay students will share with the public the work they have done in the community as interns with the Kachemak Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies, Winged Whale Research, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge/Island and Ocean Visitor Center/and NOAA.
Come learn about whale and porpoise research, Alaska fisheries, work done at the Kasistsna Bay Lab and more. This event is free and open to the public. For more information call (907) 235-1674
