Picnic at mouth of Soldotna Creek, Soldotna 1958
Pictured are participants in a picnic at the mouth of Soldotna Creek where a community spring had been developed within a wooden box at the foot of the hill. It was the water source for many and thus became major community meeting place. In the foreground, one picnicker shaves a point onto a roasting stick.
