On Saturday, December 2 at 12:00 pm Carol Lambert will offer a monotype printmaking workshop at Kachemak Bay Campus. Monotype is a way to make one-of-a-kind prints using ink, paper, and a press. Lambert will demonstrate and teach a method that involves painting with ink on a plate and then printing the image. $15 special discount rate for individuals aged 16 - 20, $30 general rate for those aged 21+. Every Wednesday beginning at 5:00 pm at Kachemak Bay Campus, join South Peninsula Hospital's Wellness Program for a free meal and a short presentation followed by an hour of free yoga at 6:00 pm. Everyone is invited
Iditarod champion Libby Riddles, the first woman to win the race, will join Jeff Schultz, the official race photographer since 1982, to reflect on the lure and adventure of Alaska's most iconic trail. Whether surviving a storm or trying to capture a photo at 50-below zero, come here about these extraordinary lives spent surrounded by sled dogs.
