2026 Alaska Historical Society Conference

The 2026 Alaska Historical Society (AHS) conference will take place October 7 - 10 at Kachemak Bay Campus, in Pioneer Hall. The conference theme, New Directions in Alaska History, focuses on the impacts of global forces on local communities’ experiences, environmental changes, and contributions of Alaska Native peoples.
AHS offers numerous public enrollment options, including a $25 day rate for students (must show ID at check-in), as well as student scholarships. For more information, visit the Alaska Historical Society website.
