On Tuesday, October 29 at 6 pm, The KPC Showcase and River City Books present: An Evening with Author Richard Chiappone in the McLane Commons at the Kenai River Campus. Richard Chiappone’s latest book is Uncommon Weather. Chiappone is a two-time recipient of the Robert Traver Award and author of Opening Days, Water of an Undetermined Depth, Liar’s Code, and The Hunger of Crows. His writing has appeared in Alaska Magazine, Playboy, Gray’s Sporting Journal, and The Sun; and in literary journals including Crescent Review, Missouri Review, and ZYZZYVA. He teaches writing at UAA and serves on the faculty of the annual Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference.
