Birch Lane Apartments, Soldotna mid 1960s
The image shows the Birch Lane Apartments and Trailer Court in Soldotna. To the left is the home of the Chell Bear family. In 2000, the Bear home was in bad repair. The apartments were rented to local tenants during the off-season and to tourists during the summer months.
