Chell & Maxine Bear home, Soldotna 1952

Shows the Chell and Maxine Bear home on the north side of the Sterling Highway near the old Alaska Road Commission shops. Also seen are various small trailers and different tents which housed other newcomers looking for land. Seems like a forerunner of the many trailer courts which exploded ten years later after the Swanson River oil discovery.
