Shows Alaska railroad flat cars bound for Whittier. On board are two vehicles with passengers within. This was how transportation was done back in the day. Later, drivers were required to ride in the passenger car, and not in their own vehicles. All this ended with the construction of the tunnel in 2000, allowing vehicles to drive through to Whittier.
