Farm scene, Matanuska Valley early 1960's
Beautiful winter picture of the moutains surrounding a valley farm. This was a typical barn erected with help for the settlers of Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal plan for the federally funded Matanuska Valley Colony, enacted in 1935.
