This is probably a sunset shot, but shows the location of the Lancashire homestead cabin which was built on a high bluff along the Kenai River valley and had a fine view of Mt. Redoubt. The outhouse holds its prominent place on the left. The girls are on sleds, one on a plastic saucer sled , the other on a sled of wood with G.I. skis as runners.
