Ed Ciechanski air force photo, early 1940's

Ed was one of the many returning WWII veterans who took advantage of homestead land on the Kenai Peninsula. He was born 1915 in Ohio, and stayed on his land in Alaska until his death in l998. Had a longtime career with McLane and Associates as a survey engineer. He married his wife Mae in 1958. Original photo can be seen at the Soldotna Historical Museum.
