View of lower Kenai River from Ciechanksi homestead, Soldotna 1970's
A fine view of the Kenai River was seen from the Ciechanski homestead. Later they subdivided and fine homes were built enjoying the view. On the opposite side of the river is a fish counter placed there by the State Department of Fish and Game that tracked the numbers of salmon entering the Kenai River. Original photo can be seen at the Soldotna Historical Museum
